Welcome to the European Congress

Two days filled with inspiration, exchange, and connection: The Congress brings together participants from the European provinces of the Brothers of Mercy of St. John of God and the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. International guests and diverse perspectives create opportunities for networking, shared learning, and the further development of inclusive living environments.

The presentations at the Congress will focus on three central themes:

•    Self-determination and individualized support services,

•    Self-determination in relationships and social participation,

•    Self-determination in relation to the environment, social space, and living environments.

In addition to the presentations, poster and video contributions will be presented throughout the conference. These will be available both on-site and online via the conference website.

The event will be co-moderated by representatives of the religious orders, Hospitality Europe, and the organizing team.

Professional visual documentation will accompany the event, bringing key content and insights to life in a vivid way.

To promote international participation, simultaneous interpretation will be provided in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish and Portuguese.

In addition to the professional program, a diverse social program offers opportunities for networking and informal exchanges — including cultural events, restaurant recommendations, and selected sights in Marseille. A guided tour will also feature visits to the facilities and services of the French Province.
